Bile Duct Stone or Obstruction (पित्त नली में पथरी या रुकावट)
Bile Duct Stones, also known as choledocholithiasis, are hardened deposits that take form in the Bile Ducts, which are the tubes that carry bile from the liver and gallbladder to the small intestine. These stones can be composed of cholesterol, pigments (such as bilirubin), or a mixture of both.
Causes (कारण):
- Conditions that cause excess Bilirubin (ऐसी स्थितियाँ जो अधिक बिलीरुबिन का कारण बनती हैं)
- Presence of too much Cholesterol in the Bile (पित्त में अत्यधिक कोलेस्ट्रॉल की उपस्थिति)
- Stones that form in the gallbladder can migrate into the Bile Duct (पित्ताशय में बनने वाले पत्थर पित्त नली में स्थानांतरित हो सकते हैं)
- Persistent infections in the bile duct can contribute to stone formation (पित्त नली में लगातार संक्रमण पथरी बनने में योगदान दे सकता है)
- A family history of gallstones or bile duct stones may increase individual risk (पित्ताशय की पथरी या पित्त नली की पथरी का पारिवारिक इतिहास व्यक्तिगत जोखिम को बढ़ा सकता है)
Symptoms (लक्षण):
- Jaundice (पीलिया)
- Dark Urine (गहरे रंग का मूत्र)
- Pale Stools (पीला मल)
- Loss of Appetite (भूख में कमी)
- Itching (खुजली)
Preventive Measures (निवारक उपाय):
- Drink Plenty of Water (खूब सारा पानी पीओ)
- Maintain a Healthy Diet (स्वस्थ आहार बनाए रखें)
- Limit Rapid Weight Loss (तेजी से वजन घटाने को सीमित करें)
- Avoid Unnecessary Medications (अनावश्यक दवाओं से बचें)
- Engage yourself in regular Physical Activities (नियमित शारीरिक गतिविधियों में खुद को व्यस्त रखें)
