Colitis (बृहदांत्रशोथ)

Colitis refers to the inflammation of the colon (large intestine). It can result from various causes, leading to different types of colitis. Symptoms often include abdominal pain, diarrhoea (which may be bloody), and urgency to have bowel movements. Depending on the cause, colitis may also involve weight loss, fatigue, and fever.
