Esophageal Disease (भोजन नाली की बिमारी)
Esophageal Disease refers to a group of conditions that affect the Oesophagus, the tube that connects the throat to the stomach. These diseases can interfere with the normal functioning of the Oesophagus, leading to symptoms that may include difficulty swallowing, chest pain, heartburn, regurgitation, and in some cases, weight loss.
Types (प्रकार):
- Achalasia (अचलासिया)
- Esophagitis (ग्रासनलीशोथ)
- Esophageal Varices (एसोफैजियल वैरिकाज़)
- Esophageal Stricture (एसोफैजियल सिकुड़न)
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (खाने की नली में खाना ऊपर लौटना)
Causes (कारण):
- Obesity (मोटापा)
- Smoking (धूम्रपान)
- Chronic Irritation (क्रोनिक जलन)
- Alcohol Consumption (शराब का सेवन)
- Previous Esophageal Injury (पिछली एसोफैजियल चोट)
Symptoms (लक्षण):
- Chest Pain (छाती में दर्द)
- Nausea or Vomiting (मतली या उलटी)
- Difficulty Swallowing (निगलने में कठिनाई)
- A Burning Sensation in the Chest or Throat (छाती या गले में जलन महसूस होना)
- The Sensation of Acid backing up into the Throat or Mouth (गले या मुंह में एसिड वापस जाने का एहसास)
