Liver Cancer (लिवर कैंसर)
Liver Cancer, also known as Hepatic Cancer, is a type of cancer that begins in the liver. It can arise from liver cells (hepatocellular carcinoma) or from the bile ducts (cholangiocarcinoma). Liver cancer is a serious condition, often diagnosed at an advanced stage due to the liver's ability to compensate for damage until it becomes severely affected.
Types (प्रकार):
- Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) [हेपैटोसेलुलर कार्सिनोमा (एचसीसी)]
- Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer) [इंट्राहेपेटिक कोलेंजियोकार्सिनोमा (पित्त नली का कैंसर)]
- Hepatoblastoma (a rare type of Liver Cancer that primarily affects children) [हेपेटोब्लास्टोमा (एक दुर्लभ प्रकार का लिवर कैंसर जो मुख्य रूप से बच्चों को प्रभावित करता है)]
- Angiosarcoma (a rare type of liver cancer that originates from the blood vessels of the liver) [वाहिकासार्कोमा (यकृत कैंसर का एक दुर्लभ प्रकार जो यकृत की रक्त वाहिकाओं से उत्पन्न होता है)]
Causes (कारण):
- Liver Cirrhosis (लिवर सिरोसिस)
- Aflatoxin Exposure (एफ्लाटॉक्सिन एक्सपोजर)
- Chronic Viral Hepatitis (क्रोनिक वायरल हेपेटाइटिस)
- Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (गैर-अल्कोहल फैटी लिवर रोग)
- Excessive Alcohol Consumption (अत्यधिक शराब का सेवन)
Symptoms (लक्षण):
- Feeling Sick or experiencing Vomiting (बीमार महसूस करना या उल्टी का अनुभव होना)
- Unexplained Weight Loss and Loss of Appetite (अस्पष्टीकृत वजन घटना और भूख न लगना)
- Yellowing of the skin and eyes due to bile buildup (पित्त के जमाव के कारण त्वचा और आंखों का पीला पड़ना)
- Pain in the Upper Abdomen, especially in the Right Side (पेट के ऊपरी हिस्से में दर्द, विशेष रूप से दाहिनी ओर)
- Fluid buildup in the Abdomen or swelling in the legs (पेट में तरल पदार्थ का जमाव या पैरों में सूजन)
